The VFW’s National Legislative Service advocates on veterans’ behalves by testifying at congressional committee hearings and interacting with congressional members.  The VFW has played an instrumental role in nearly every piece of veterans’ legislation passed since the beginning of the 20th Century.

Since 1928 the Auxiliary has progressed letter-writing, personal contacts, e-mails, and invitations to legislators to attend functions to share views on veterans’ issues and support for Action Corp.   Here are some of the recent landmark victories where the VFW Action Corps stood up for our veterans, service members, and their families>
